Sept. 18, 2 to 4 p.m.
In this advanced-beginner to intermediate-level knitting class, you will learn the entrelac technique, which produces an interlocking diamond pattern resulting in a fabric that looks like woven knitted strips. Though not difficult to do, entrelac can be tricky to understand when reading a written pattern, making this a great skill to take on in a class environment. And if you want to improve your ability to pick up stitches, this workshop is the one! You will come away with a small dishcloth, but you will have the skills to make some beautiful garments, bags, or home décor items.
The pattern will be included in the cost of the class. Students will need one ball of dishcloth cotton and 4.5 mm needles (24" circular is ideal).
