Christmas Stocking Ornaments/Heel Turns Sampler (Online) / Oct. 29, Nov. 5, & Nov. 12

Tuesdays, October 29, November 5, & November 12, 7 to 8:30 p.m.

In this class you will expand your sock heel knowledge by trying out different heel constructions while also making a mini ornament. Over three classes, we will make an ornament using the following heel constructions: Fleegle, Afterthought (we'll talk, too, about fore-thought), and Shadow Wrap heel. There is homework involved with each week's class to ensure you are ready to knit a heel.

Previous knowledge of toe-up sock knitting is necessary.

Materials needed:

• Worsted weight yarn (any fibre)
• 3.25 or 3.5 mm needles (DPNs or 24" circular for magic loop)
