Wednesdays, February 21 & 28, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Learn to knit in the round by knitting a hat! In the first class, we'll teach you an appropriate cast-on method for a hat (and other ribbed items), how to join in the round, and how to knit through the back loop. And then in the second class, with most of your hat knitted, you'll learn how to manipulate four needles as you decrease stitches to finish it off. If you know how to knit and purl, you can make this hat! (Knitters 13 and over are welcome!)
For the quick-knit hat we’re doing this time (the purple one pictured), you will need an 8 mm 16" circular needle, a set of 8 mm double-pointed needles and about 60 yards of super bulky yarn.
