Heatwave Summer Catch-All / July 15 & 22

The Heatwave Summer Catch-All is a sturdy bag with all kinds of uses! It can be a project bag, a lunch bag, a book bag, or a small market bag. As a bonus, because of its flat bottom, a water bottle will stay upright in a well-packed bag!

The construction of the bag has some techniques that may be new to people.

In Class One, you will learn the provisional cast-on, the cable cast-on, and how to bind-off and cast-on mid-row.

In Class Two, you will learn how to join the bag base to the body of the bag using a three-needle join.

You will need: 

• Two balls of KFI Eco Bag
• 4.5 mm 24" circular needles
• Other 4.5 mm needles of any length
• Waste yarn DK or finer
• 2.5 to 3.5 mm circular needles longer than 24"
• Crochet hook ranging from 3.25 to 3.75 mm (or size suitable for waste yarn)
