Learn to Knit a Knocker (Online) / TBD

Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. You can learn more about them here.

In this free online workshop, we will walk you through the beginning steps of knitting a Knocker. 

We are working with the Northumberland Hills Hospital to collect Knitted Knockers for local women who need them! (We host a Knit a Knocker Night the first Wednesday of each month, too!)

Participants should have some experience working on double-pointed needles.

Supplies needed:

• one of the approved yarns (we carry Estelle Eco Cotton DK and Cascade Noble Cotton).
• 4.5 mm DPNs (or 4 mm if you are a loose knitter--you do want this to be knit tightly)
