For children aged 8 and up
The straight stitch is the most basic of embroidery stitches and a great stitch to introduce children to the soothing and creative art of embroidery.
In this class, children will explore how to vary the length, spacing and direction of this simple stitch to create a charming picture.
Two patterns are available to choose from. Please state the child's preference at registration.Â
Supplies included in the cost of this class are a hoop, embroidery needle, floss, and fabric with printed pattern.
