Stranded Colourwork (Hot Water Bottle Edition) / Nov. 21 & 28

Learn a closed cast-on, two-handed stranded colourwork, and pattern-reading skills while knitting a beautiful hot-water bottle cover. This is a quick knit, perfect for a last-minute gift--and for honing your colourwork skills!

The pattern (included in class fee) includes two sizes and uses either three or six colours of DK-weight yarn. In this workshop, we will make the larger (2L), standard size using three colours. You should purchase your hot water bottle in advance of the class so you can try it on as you knit your cover.

You will need:

• 50-60 g of main colour
• 20 g of each contrast colour
• 4 mm 16" circular needle
• 4 mm DPNs (or long circular for magic loop)
• stitch markers
• tapestry needle
