Technique Tuesdays (In-Store) / TBD

Tuesdays, July 22, 29, August 12, 19, 26, 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.

We are hosting some mini-workshops in July and August. Sign up for one or sign up for several (and get a discount for doing so)!

Each mini-workshop will be 30 to 45 minutes long and will focus on a single technique (whereas our regular workshops tend to teach several techniques in a project).

Supplies needed for them are outlined below (needles can be circular or straight in all cases except the DPN class):

• July 22 - Provisional cast-on: crochet hook and knitting needles of about same size and waste yarn of appropriate weight for needle size
• July 29 - Starting a project on double-pointed needles: DPNs and waste yarn of appropriate weight for needle size
• August 12 - Italian tubular cast-on: knitting needles and waste yarn of appropriate weight for needle size
• August 19 - Methods for joining the next yarn ball: a few leftover bits of yarn can be handy for practising some techniques, as well as some stitches already on a needle
• August 26 - Tubular bind-off: darning needle, small swatch of about 30 sts in K1, P1 ribbing, yarn still attached
