Learn how to thrum while making a beautiful, warm headband perfect for the coldest winter months. Thrums (visible in green in photo—that's the inside of the headband) are bits of roving, or unspun fleece from sheep, used to line mittens, slippers, headbands, and nearly anything else you want to make extra toasty.
In this class, you will learn a thrumming technique that is less labour-intensive and uses less roving.
The pattern and the roving are included in the class fee. Knitters should be comfortable knitting in the round on either 16" circular needles or double-pointed needles.
Materials needed: 3.75 mm needles, 50 g worsted weight yarn
