Beginner Hat Knitting: Barley (Online) / TBD

Wednesdays, Oct. 9 & 16, 7 to 8:30 p.m.

If you haven't yet knit in the round or knit on four double-pointed needles, this workshop will teach you new skills that you will use A LOT through your knitting adventures.

You will learn how to:

• do a stretchy cast-on
• join in the round
• use markers to differentiate pattern stitches
• knit with double-pointed needles
• close up a hat
  
• weave in ends

For this workshop, you will need:

• up to 170 yds worsted weight yarn 
• 4 mm & 5 mm 16" circular needles
• 5 mm DPNs
• stitch markers
• darning needle
