This intermediate-level workshop will walk you through how to do wrap & turn short rows, cast on with a garter tab, carry a second colour along the edge, do M1R & M1L increases, and track your progress through a fairly complex pattern. It is an excellent introduction to doing triangular shawls, particularly if you are interested in later doing the Butterfly/Papillon shawl.
Participants should know how to knit in the round, do KFB increases, take back their knitting, and be able to read their knitting well. Experience with reading patterns is a must.
You will need at least two colours of sock-weight yarn (70 yards of each) and 2.75 mm 24" circular needles. (This pattern is a great stash buster!) You also must have a tried-and-true method of tracking your way through a pattern, whether with highlighter tape, a ruler, KnitCompanion, or a pattern holder—and bring that with you.
The cost of the pattern is included in the workshop price.
