Crochet Mini Christmas Stockings / TBD

Saturday, November 25, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

These easy-to-make mini stockings would make lovely gifts for Christmas, on their own or filled with little treats, decorations, a special note or gift card. 

Some crochet experience is required. You should know how to chain and do single crochet and slip stitch.

In this workshop, you will learn:

• how to make both versions of this stocking. Patterns will be provided.
• how to start at the toe using the magic circle method
• how to change colours using the slip stitch technique 

Size of stocking depends on yarn used. Pattern calls for worsted weight yarn using a 4 mm crochet hook. You can use smaller weight yarn and adjust the hook size accordingly.

Materials needed: Approximately 25 yds of each colour of yarn per stocking, crochet hook (see note above), locking stitch markers, scissors, yarn needle.
