This beautiful beginner-friendly hat is made with a double-thick brim to keep ears warm in winter. It's a quick and fun knit and would make great holiday gifts!
In this two-session workshop you will learn how to do a provisional cast-on using a crochet hook and waste yarn, and then you'll return to learn how to do a three-needle joining row. If you know how to knit in the round already, you can learn how to make this hat!
Materials needed:
- approximately 115 yards of worsted weight yarn
- 5.5 mm 16" circular needles
- crochet hook smaller than 4.5 mm
- waste yarn (any weight DK or finer)
- 4 mm or smaller circular needles (any length will work)
- darning needle
- stitch marker
