Introduction to Crocheting Toys/Amigurumi (In-Store) / TBD

Saturday, January 27, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

If you have basic crochet skills (chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet) and can keep a fairly consistent tension, you can learn to create three-dimensional characters in this workshop!  

You will learn the basics of shape manipulation. Specifically, you’ll learn how to work the "magic ring,” how to use increases and decreases to create shape, and how to sew your pieces together. You will also gain confidence in reading crochet patterns.

• one ball Ricorumi cotton (or another DK weight yarn)
• 3.25 mm hook (for cotton) or 3.5 mm hook (for acrylic)
• 6 mm-10 mm buttons or safety eyes
• darning needle
