Introduction to Crocheting Toys/Amigurumi (In-Store) / March 16

Saturday, March 16, 3 to 5 p.m.

If you have basic crochet skills (chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet) and can keep a fairly consistent tension, you can learn to create three-dimensional characters in this workshop!  

You will learn the basics of shape manipulation. Specifically, you’ll learn how to work the "magic ring,” how to use increases and decreases to create shape, and how to sew your pieces together. You will also gain confidence in reading crochet patterns.

• one ball worsted weight cotton (or another worsted weight yarn)
• 3.5 mm hook 
• 6 mm-10 mm buttons or safety eyes
• darning needle
