Learn to Knit a Knocker (In-Store) / TBD

Knitted Knockers are special handmade breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. You can learn more about them here.

In this free workshop, we will walk you through the beginning steps of knitting a Knocker. 

We are working with the Northumberland Hills Hospital to collect Knitted Knockers for local women who need them!

Participants should have some experience working on double-pointed needles.

Supplies needed:

• one of the approved yarns (we carry Cascade Ultra Pima and Noble Cotton and Estelle Eco Cotton DK)
• 4.5 mm DPNs (or 4 mm if you are a loose knitter!)
