Sailor Slippers / Sept. 13 & 27

Sundays, September 13 & 27, 3 to 5 p.m.

Learn to make a pair of the viral Sailor Slippers by Annie Germain! 

The first session of this class will cover casting on and working the top of the slipper. You will have two weeks between classes to complete the sole of the slipper. 

In the second session, we will sew the slipper together and cover how to felt them at home. 

This workshop is appropriate for advanced-beginner level knitters who are comfortable with increases and decreases. Some experience picking up stitches is helpful but not required. Familiarity working with circular needles is required.

Pattern is included in the class fee.

Materials: 

• Drops Snow or other super chunky weight yarn appropriate for felting in the quantity required for desired size (see pattern page on Ravelry)
• 8 mm circular needles with a 16” or 24” cord
• 8 mm DPNs (optional)
• Notions: tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers, measuring tape
