In this short magic-loop sock workshop, we will teach you the one-move left cross and right cross (to knit a 1/1 cable). We will also discuss how to incorporate other, more complex sock patterns into your sock-knitting routine, building on what you learned in our introductory Magic Loop Two-at-a-Time Socks workshop.
Participants must be comfortable using the magic-loop toe-up sock knitting method. You will be required to have at least one sock casted on and the toe knit in preparation for the workshop.
Materials needed: 2.5 mm needles & approximately 100 g of yarn (speckled recommended). Note that we will hand-dye yarn upon request if you give us at least a week's notice!
