In the morning, enjoy a workshop during which you will learn fission knitting, a new knitting technique developed by Canadian designer Mary W. Martin. In this workshop, you will learn the technique working on a small swatch. Included in the class fee is a pattern of your choice from Mary's Ravelry store, which you can select that day.

We will then break for a yummy high-tea lunch catered by the Lass & Ladle of Grafton. Those of you who've attended before know that this lunch itself is worth the price of admission!

After lunch, we will all enjoy together time in the knitting circle, starting either the “real” fission knitting project or something else that is relaxing!

You will want to bring with you two contrasting colours of fingering weight yarn and 4.5 mm needles. The designer says that a "round" superwash merino is best for this type of knitting.
