Springtime Daylong Knitting Retreat / June 1

Cathy screwed up and double-booked! A new date of Sunday, June 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is tentative, but will be confirmed as soon as we hear back from the Lass & Ladle that they can do it!

We always have so much fun doing these retreats that we've added an extra hour of sit-and-knit time to this one!

In the morning, enjoy a workshop during which you will learn the moebius cast-on (contrary to popular belief, it is NOT just twisting your stitches to join in the round--it's way more fun than that!). Once all your stitches are casted on, you will knit a row or two during the class time to experience how moebius knitting works.

We will then break for a yummy high-tea lunch catered by the Lass & Ladle of Grafton. Those of you who've attended before know that this lunch itself is worth the price of admission!

After lunch, we will all enjoy together time in the knitting circle, working on either the moebius cowl or something else that is relaxing!

The cowl we are casting on calls for approximately 215 yards of worsted weight yarn and 6.5 mm 47" needles. (You can get away with 40" ones, but if you have interchangeable needles, a 37" cord isn't a bad idea!)
