Come learn to steek anything with the crochet reinforcement technique! We will cover how to add a steek, reinforce a steek, cut a steek, and some of the many finishing options for your steek. Bring your own project to steek or knit the swatch provided to style before class. After this class you will be prepared to cut your knitting with confidence, making colourwork cardigans and shawls a dream.
Materials needed:
- Project to steekÂ
- Waste yarn, one weight lighter than what you are going to steekÂ
- Crochet hook, ribbing sizeÂ
- Long circular in ribbing sizeÂ
- ScissorsÂ
- Tapestry needle
Participants should already have experience doing colourwork; it is not part of this workshop.
