Learn how to do tapestry crochet by making this beautiful crossbody bag!

Tapestry crochet is a colourwork technique that allows you to create detailed graphic patterns by using 2 or more strands of yarn of different colours. All the colours needed for your work are carried inside your stitches at all times. 

In this workshop, you will receive step-by-step instructions to make this tapestry crochet bag while working in the round and learn how to easily change colours of yarn. Pattern will be provided. 

Skill level: Advanced beginner/intermediate 

Materials needed:

• 2 colours of worsted weight cotton yarn (approx. 200 yds per colour)
• 2.75 to 3.25 mm crochet hook
• stitch markers
• extra yarn if crocheting a handle (or you can purchase a 1” faux leather handle once you’ve completed the bag)
