Tunisian crochet (also known as Afghan crochet) creates a dense, textured fabric that is ideal for making blankets, warm garments and items for the home. Although it is similar to crochet, it differs in that you create stitches using a long crochet hook and hold multiple yarn loops on the hook as done in knitting.

- How to make the Tunisian simple stitch
- How to make the Tunisian knit stitch
Materials needed:
- 50 g of worsted weight cotton dishcloth yarn
- Tunisian/Afghan hook size 6 mm or 6.5 mm or 7 mm
