Introduction to Crocheting Toys/Amigurumi (In-Store) / Oct. 5

Learn the basics of Amigurumi while crocheting this adorable pumpkin! In this class we will cover:

• starting your project with a Magic Circle
• keeping track of your rows and stitches to ensure a well-shaped final product 
• increase and decrease stitches that work especially well for amigurumi

For this class you will need:  

• 50 g worsted weight cotton yarn in each of two colors (pumpkin body and stem)
• 4.0 or 4.5 mm crochet hook
• two locking or split ring stitch markers
• tapestry needle
• scissors

Stuffing will be provided. Participants should know how to chain and do the single crochet stitch.
