Learn to knit lace with increases and decreases while making the beautiful Elise scarf!
In this advanced-beginner class, you will learn techniques such as:
- Creating an i-cord edge
- Various types of increases (m1l, m1r, kfb)
- Various types of decreases (k2tog, ssk, cdd)
- Lace chart reading
- Tracking your way through a pattern
- Blocking lace
- Weaving in ends
We've separated this into two sessions so you have ample time to master all of the skills presented.
The pattern is included in the price of the workshop. You will need the following:
- Approximately 120 m of double-knitting or sport weight yarn
- 3.5 mm needles (straight or circular)
- 3 stitch markers, including one locking or split ring marker
- Darning needle
